I started playing lacrosse when I was in 5th grade and ever since then it has always been my top priority sport and the most fun to me. Out of the three sports that I participate in, lacrosse feels to be the one I excel in the most. When I got to high school my friend and I were the only two freshman to make the varsity team. I felt a lot of pressure at the time but handled it well and continuing to play Varsity in all three sports from my freshman year to now currently. I had stepped up to take the draw my freshman year and have been working to better myself every day since in club as well. I know that I may not be the tallest girl out there but I always tell myself that hustle can get you anywhere on the field and that is how I use my speed to knock the ball my way and beat my girl to it. My parents have always told me that being a student athlete is all about the student part and less about the athlete. Playing school soccer, club soccer, school basketball, school lacrosse, and club lacrosse all in one year has taught me true responsibility and even better people skills. Outside of sports, I really enjoying hanging out at the pool with my family, dogs, and friends and taking vacations to the beach.
