I started playing lacrosse when I was in sixth grade. My love for lacrosse started when my cousin Joey passed away from cancer when I was 7 years old. Seeing his dedication and passion for the sport inspired me and when Im on the field it makes me feel closer to him. My sophomore year I decided to join the cross country team at my school and made states! My team became like my family and this year I am captain and made varsity. I also decided to play soccer to help with my footwork my sophomore year and hope to make varsity again this year! I am Vice President of Missions club at my school and also apart of mooney medical, St. Vincent De Paul and secretary of the film club. I have over 450 service hours and volunteer at a church camp as a camp counselor each summer. The camp helped open my eyes and gave me the chance to influence young lives and their journeys with God. I love being involved and getting to work with different types of people. I am beyond excited for my senior year and playing lacrosse. I can go anywhere on the field except for goalie and love to run! I am very loud and not scared to get my team talking so my coach does have me help out with defense depending on which team I am playing on. Im also comfortable taking anyone on defense and not scared to go after the ball. I have a great endurance and always ready to give each minute in the game my all. I am comfortable with shooting with both hands and look forward to growing as a player.
