I began playing lacrosse at 7 years old. I was a successful middie and was asked one game to play goalie. From that moment on, I knew I had found the position I wanted to be in and never looked back! I have worked hard watching other goalies, attending camps and building my stick skills. I pride myself on my ability to see the ball coming and get my stick where it needs to be. As a second year varsity member of my high school team, we have won our Section 3 Class A championship and were crowned Class A New York State Champions. We will participate for a second year in the National High School Championships. I have become a calm and focused field leader. I continue to attend Save Schools in my area all throughout the season and work on my physical strength and endurance through trainers and multiple sports teams such as basketball (almost section champions two years in a row). This year I am the Section 3 leader for Goals Against Average with an average of 3 goals. I volunteer and work at our local youth lacrosse summer camps and youth basketball camps. I am a member of our Key Club and have worked events such as a community Halloween festivities and nearby elementary schools walk-a-thons.
