I started playing lacrosse in Kindergarten with the influence of my mom, who played in college at the University of Maryland and then Temple University, and I fell in love with the game the second I picked up a stick for the first time. Once I realized lacrosse was the sport I wanted to pursue I began playing for my Club Team DEWLAX in 3rd grade. Additionally, I played soccer in the fall and spring and swam club in the winter all through elementary and middle school. I decided to switch to cross country in the fall when I got to Highschool to increase my endurance and prepare me for my upcoming lacrosse season. I earned a varsity letter for cross country as well other accolades Then, in the winter I earned another varsity letter for swimming and again in the spring for lacrosse. I am very happy to say that I started all my games as a freshman and finished the season as a top stat leader on my team. I was awarded with honors within my team and in the state of New Jersey. Aside from athletics, academics as well as extracurricular are very important to me. I ended freshman year with a 4.0 GPA, high honor roll each marking period, and a place on my class Student Government as Class Representative. Alongside of that I spend time volunteering within my community for the youth lacrosse program helping teach future players. As for my Sophomore year, I took Honors Chemistry and Algebra 2 as well as advanced Spanish. I was also Class Representative again and elected for my upcoming Junior year as well. As for advanced classes my junior year, I will be taking AP Environmental Science, AP Biology, and Computer Science. And as for sports I decided to play field hockey this fall, as it is my Highschool's first ever year having a field hockey team! Continuing into the winter, I ran winter track to benefit me on the lacrosse field. This past year, as a Junior, me and my lacrosse team finished 16-5 with the best season we have had in over 10 years. Moving into my Senior year, I am captain of the field hockey and lacrosse team. As well as moving into my 4th year as class representative, while taking advanced classes like AP Stat and AP Lit.
