I am an athlete who loves playing lacrosse. I have played center midfield on club soccer teams which have ranked in the top 10 and top 20 in the country and decided a few years ago to commit myself full-time to lacrosse, so I can play it in college. I started my time as a lacrosse goalie in sixth grade, but I could not play on any of the top club teams due to soccer commitments. I made the change in 2020 when I joined South Jersey Select, and I have a fantastic goalie trainer from TCNJ, coach Bob Henderson. I am a top goalie for my club and am always working to improve. I pride myself on my work ethic and quick reaction time. The main statistic that I am tracked on as a goalie is my save percentage which is currently close to 60%. I enjoy the pressure that being a goalie produces, and I love being the one my teammates count on to ensure a win. Outside of sports, I am a very dedicated student. I take AP or Honors classes in every subject except math. I am an avid writer who has both won poetry contests and published writing. On the extracurricular side, I enjoy donating my time to help with local groups including the Elks, Special Olympics, Top Soccer (soccer for special needs children), and Kat's Kitty Rescue. Some school clubs I participate in include National Honor Society, No Place for Hate club, Literary Magazine, Science National Honors Society, and National Spanish Honors Society. I am a very competitive person and will always put in my best effort to win. Unfortunately, I tore my ACL last spring so I missed all of the recruiting events last year. I am back to playing, and I am getting faster and better every day. you can see my progression in the videos attached.
