In my 10 years of coaching lacrosse both for full teams and 1-on-1 lessons, I've never coached anyone like Will Harris. Will is the ultimate team player, competitor, and hustler. Will wants to win so badly every time that he is on the field that he constantly makes plays (within reason and without trying to do too much), makes his teammates better, and works his tail off with the ball, off ball, and MOST IMPORTANTLY on the ride. Will has gotten the ball back for our team more times than I can count, especially in late game and crucial situations where possession is so important. If I could have 3 Will Harris' playing attack for me I would. I can without a doubt say that any coach who has Will on his team is extremely lucky. Will has been an unbelievably positive addition to our VES lacrosse team! He was good last year as a freshman, but as a sophomore this year, he has taken his game to a whole other level! He was the quarterback of our team this year. I am just glad I get to have him running our offense for the next two years! Whoever is lucky enough to get him next, will be getting a hard working, coachable young man whose best lacrosse is ahead of him!
