I have coached Addie as a club GK coach and as her high school GK coach. She is extremely coachable and is dedicated to both her team and personal success. One of the things that I appreciate with her is her ability to continue to move forward in practice or in a game. She does not let emotions get the best of her in the moment and that has led her to be a very successful GK. She is very technically sound in her form and continuously works hard to be precise and consistent (which she is). Addie is a solid GK who is only going to get better. Addie Donaldson is one of the few players I have coached in the past few years with the "IT" factor: enthusiastic, always wanting more, coachable and hard working. Addie is the first to show up, last to leave, consistently asks for feedback/tips and wants to excel every single day. Addie is a true gamer, she really shines under pressure and can keep her team in the game by making incredible saves, hustling to be the trail pass after a clear and communicating/directing her defense. You would be lucky to have Addie on your team, she is a natural born leader, yet has a gentle demeanor allowing her to get along with everyone.
