Bodey is the only freshman to earn a starting spot in my five years at East Ridge. He's extremely coachable, plays well under pressure, and is always pushing himself in practice to become a better player. He takes great angles on approaches, arrives on hands, and covers top attackmen very well. Outside of his 1v1 defense, he plays well within a defensive system. In addition to his on-field talent, he's a dedicated student with a high GPA. Bodey has a bright future at East Ridge and at the next level.

Bodey is a very smart defenseman. He plays exceptional 1v1 defense and is in the right spot off ball to help teammates. Bodey does all the little things that coaches love.
