Responsible, high Lax IQ, great body positioning/foot work, tough to play against, top level multi-sport athlete, excellent student.
I love all sports but I play organized lacrosse and hockey. I was introduced to lacrosse at age 8. Scoring goals is great but I have always wanted to be a long stick. I was recognized for my defensive play when I was invited to the 2019 Lacrosse America Top 100 Invitational and the Epoch North American Showcase in 2021 as well as 2022. My defensive strengths are my body positioning, being on hands and landing stick checks. I have played high-level hockey. I am a straight A student.

Steve Van Sloun
Bodey is the only freshman to earn a starting spot in my five years at East Ridge. He's extremely coachable, plays well under pressure, and is always pushing himself in practice to become a better player. He takes great angles on approaches, arrives on hands, and covers top attackmen very well. Outside of his 1v1 defense, he plays well within a defensive system. In addition to his on-field talent, he's a dedicated student with a high GPA. Bodey has a bright future at East Ridge and at the next level.
