I began playing lacrosse in first grade when my older cousin introduced me to the sport. My two older brothers were also learning to play the sport at roughly the same time and together we fell in love with the sport. My passion is driven by the sports creativity, fast pace of play, and its versatility. In seventh grade I joined the Mad Dog lacrosse program and had the opportunity to play in the World Series of Youth Lacrosse in 2016. The following summer I was given the chance to play with the 2021 Mad Dog National Select team. I played varsity lacrosse at Harvard Westlake and started numerous games as a freshman last year. In addition, this year on varsity as a sophmore I was awarded second team all mission league as a midfielder. I am comfortable shooting and dodging with both hands from many different angles while attacking the cage and believe my many years of playing the sport have helped me build a high IQ. I also can run both sides of the field as well as move the ball up field in transition. I am motivated academically and my school's rigorous academic cirrciulum has given me the opportunity to take Geometry Honors, AP computer science principles, and Math Analysis Honors my past two years at the school. I have a 4.13 weighted and 3.90 unweighted GPA and have received strait A's throughout my first two years of high school. Throughout my schooling career I have also recieved honor roll every year and have worked in my school's student ambassador program. In relation to community outreach, I often volunteer with Harlem Lacrosse Los Angeles and Children's Institute Inc. in order to help work with the inner city youth. Additionally, I have participated in visits to PATH homeless shelters. Aside from lacrosse, I enjoy playing golf with my friends and family as well as skiing in the winter and going to the beach in the summer.
