I started playing lacrosse in fifth grade and I started as a goalie in sixth grade. I have also been a competitive cheerleader for most of my life, keeping me in shape in the offseason, this also gives me better balance, strength, and overall makes me a better athlete. When I started to play as a goalie I had a very good natural instinct to go to the ball and I have never been scared of the ball. I have been told by many coaches at camp and practices that I have very fast hands, which allows me to get to the ball faster. I go to camps almost every year to work on my skills with goalie specific coaches which had taught me tips and tricks to better myself throughout my career. I definitely dont play it safe in the goal I like to take risks that I know have a high percentage of paying off and I do like to play more aggressively. I love to intercept passes and to block off passing lanes from behind to help out my defense. Overall, I love the sport I play and I would love to continue playing throughout college and hopefully even beyond my years as a student.
