I started playing lacrosse at 14 and immediately fell in love with the sport. My high school had a small, and newer program so I was able to start varsity my freshman year as a defender. As a sophomore, I moved to midfield. With having such a late start to lacrosse I knew catching up to players that had played all their lives would be hard. The following fall I began to play club, this put me in a very different atmosphere than my high school team and forced me to pick up the game faster. I believe my best asset is my athleticism. Sports have always been a huge part of my life. As well as lacrosse I play on the varsity volleyball team and run varsity winter track. I wanted to focus more on lacrosse, and even though I had played basketball all my life I decided it was no longer the right fit for me. I started doing winter track my junior year for I wanted to increased my speed, and endurance on the field. I also participate in DECA and interact(a volunteer club).
