CJ is an aggressive defender always looking to guard the opponent's top offensive threat. He is extremely versatile being able to play both Close D and LSM as well as SSDM depending on the team's needs. CJ has a team first mentality and will do whatever is needed in order to help the team win. As a player he has the ability to play hard nose for ground balls while also being able to demonstrate the finesse needed to move the ball from a congested area in front of the crease up and out into transition. His on field IQ can be seen in his off ball defense and and in his transition game. CJ knows when to push and when to hold back.
