Ella is on her way to becoming a complete lacrosse player. This past season was her first in our sport, and she not only made the Varsity, but was a central part of the team as an all around middie who performed well in every aspect of the game. She was the team's second leading scorer with 29 goals and 8 assists. Ella excelled defensively with her combination of athleticism, awareness and intensity, and for the same reasons was outstanding at ground balls and draw controls. Her basketball experience has given her a good understanding of offensive spacing and defensive help concepts. Ella's stickwork is excellent with her right hand, and developing with her left. As impressive as her athletic ability and developing lacrosse skills are, Ella's mental makeup may be the most important aspect of her game. She has a very strong work ethic, constantly challenges herself to improve, and is intensely competitive. Ella is extremely coachable, and has taken the first steps toward an outstanding lacrosse career.
