I came late to lacrosse as I was top baseball pitcher and successful soccer midfielder in Northern California. It wasnt until freshman year that I specialized in Lacrosse. While I continue to play varsity basketball for my high school, my true passion is lacrosse, and more importantly facing off. In addition to being a solid tennis player and golfer, playing multiple sports has served me well at the X. Pitching taught me the importance of mechanics and mental strength, especially when in pressure situations. Soccer ingrained the logic of when to go to goal and when to pass. My quickness and agility in basketball leads to steals and blocked shots, but more importantly, how to be a good teammate and supporting character. I like to think my sports journey has always been about an incremental building process, and I look forward to continuing this tradition at Colgate.
