Frank Fiannaca
Recruit Profile
Positive minded team player that is very vocal on the field. Aggressive, great instincts on and off ball, and has outstanding footwork.
I started playing lacrosse when I was 8 years old. I played in the World Series of Youth Lacrosse in 2019. I made varsity my freshman year and I started my sophomore year for Haddonfield Memorial High School. I am most talented with my footwork, communication, and stick skills. Additionally, I was apart of a defense that was top 5 in the state for goals against average. Everyday I pursue to become the best version of myself physically and mentally for not only on the field, but off the field as well. I am inspired by my sisters (Brooke and Elise) and plan to follow in their footsteps, one plays at James Madison University (Elise) , and the other plays for the University of Rochester (Brooke). I also play on my Varsity high school football team so that I can stay in better shape for lacrosse. I am in the Business Club, History Club, Pile of Smile Club, Voicemail, and I volunteer at Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.

Frank is a close defenseman that resonates a blue collar approach to working hard, being coachable and playing the sport in a physical manner. He has been a starter since his Freshman year and has improved each year. He has experience playing a variety of defenses while maintaining a flexible approach to situations that arise. He has the physical ability to cover the other teams top attackman and support his teammates with a “team first” approach. Frank is coachable to an extreme and has the ability to communicate and contribute to our teams game plans. Frank also has the patience and ability to teach the game to the younger players in our program. He understands our culture and how to pass it on to the next class. This year we are looking towards Frank to emerge as a leader and I feel he is capable of becoming a veteran anchor to our team. In the classroom Frank has demonstrated his ability to succeed at a high level. Off the field he volunteers with our youth program, local church and helps to raise money for our Program's Annual Scholarship. Frank will be an asset to any program he is involved with.

Frank has been a key defensive starter for the last 2 seasons. Under his defensive leadership, HMHS went 14-4 in 2022 and finished 1st in NJ Group 1 South (best season in program history). This was mainly due to our team’s strong defense led in part by Frank. The D gave up only 5.3 gpg (Top 10 in NJ) and held Mountain Lakes (#1 NJ) scoreless for 27 straight minutes during our State Championship game (lost 8-2). Frank played a vital role in locking up top scorers from the best NJ teams each and every week. Frank is a hard worker, great teammate, coachable, and comes from a great family. He brings leadership and commitment to our lacrosse family and would be a treasured asset at any college program.
