Gia Caso
Recruit Profile
Willing to learn and constantly doing things to improve my fitness and game play. Disciplined, coachable, committed, and have a competitive drive while being a team player.
I started both cheerleading and lacrosse at 7 years old. I played both sports with drive and commitment and secured a varsity spot for both sports my freshmen year of highschool. I started off as attack for lacrosse, but built up my fitness and speed tremendously to become a midfielder who obtains quick speed to work down the field. I have been in honors and AP leveled classes throughout the years and have learned how to balance heavy workload and still have athletics be a priority. I struggled with grades my freshmen and sophomore year, but was able to bring my 2.8 GPA to a 4.0 for the first semester of junior year. I am in National Spanish and English honors societies. I have achieved distinguished honor roll so far in my junior year with rigorous courses. During my junior year of highschool, I decided to stop cheerleading to focus on lacrosse and be able to give my full attention to the sport I truly am passionate about and decided to join a club team, the Phantastix Lacrosse Club. I constantly am working on my fitness outside of practice and games to become stronger.
