Echoing what Andy has already said about JJ, he is a very hard worker and great teammate. JJ is a very capable scorer but is the kind of player who does not need to be the center of attention. He is happy to do the gritty work that creates opportunities for his teammates and makes offenses successful. You will notice that when JJ is on the field everyone else on offense tends to play better and be more productive. What I like most about JJ is that he has a genuine love for the sport of lacrosse. He is eager to learn and improve and extremely receptive to coaching. He will put the time and work in not because it's required of him but because he loves playing and enjoys the grind.

JJ is a great player and an even better teammate. One of the hardest working players on the team, JJ can be found in the weight room and on the field when not in practice. An excellent crease finisher, JJ is able to find the open space near the goal and finishes when given the opportunity. He is also great at backing down a defender to just outside the crease, and roll off to find a goal or a teammate as well. JJ has played all positions on attack and is familiar with multiple offensive styles. He is a dependable player and an integral part of our team. He also helps out coaching the youth teams from time to time which has helped him understand the game even more. JJ has never had a problem with his grades and takes his academics just as serious as his athletics.
