I started playing rec lacrosse and soccer when I was 9, and have been playing club lacrosse since 5th grade. As a freshman, I was asked to join the Varsity team through the state tournament (we won the NJ Group 3 North 1 Sectionals), after playing JV for the season. I am a fast, aggressive attacker, I have good field awareness, and am comfortable with both hands. I am disciplined and love being part of a team! As a distinguished honors student, I have received many awards, and excel in both language arts/history and the sciences. Freshman year I took 5 honors classes including: English I Honors, Biology Honors, World History Honors, Spanish I Honors, and Geometry Honors. As a sophomore, I am taking the highest number of honors classes offered: 2 Advanced Honors courses in English and US History; and 3 additional honors classes in Chemistry, Algebra II and Spanish. I am the Social Media Chair and a staff writer for the school newspaper, I am a delegate for Model UN and I am a member of the IHA Mock Trials team. I was selected as an ambassador to represent IHA for prospective students during school events. For the past 4 years I have been volunteering at a local social services organization, I babysit and pet-sit and this past summer I was camp counselor for preschoolers.
