Before being hired as a full-time assistant Day spent five years as a member of the Falcons Men’s Lacrosse team. Day was a four-time captain and four-time all-conference player for the falcons during his playing career. Day also helped lead the Falcons to their first-ever NCAA tournament appearance during the 2019 season. He finished his playing career as the Men’s Lacrosse all-time leader in points, goals, and assists.
