I moved from Long Island (Wantagh) to Philadelphia when I was in the third grade. I have been playing lacrosse since kindergarten.

I am a strong leader and have been all my life. At Villa Joseph Marie High School, I was elected one of the class representatives to student council both sophomore and junior years.

In high school I have also had the opportunity to give back to the community as both a student and an athlete.

Villa Joseph Marie HS has a very active "Athletes Helping Athletes" (AHA) Program (As information, Athletes Helping Athletes, Inc. exists to better the life of the special needs athlete.) This year I joined AHA club and participated in several events.

As a rising freshman, I was part of a small group that participated in the Freshman In Reflective Service Together and as a rising sophomore, I continued my service by being part of Villa's Philadelphia Neighborhood Immersion Experience. Both experiences allowed me to volunteer my time to help others.
