Recruit Profile
Tenacious and coachable team player who has a great understanding of lacrosse. A multi-sport athlete who has a fantastic work

I started playing lacrosse when I was 6 and have always dreamed of playing lacrosse in college. I would like to study nursing in college and would like to attend an east coast school. In 2013, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and lost almost 20 pounds. I faced life-saving surgery that gave me a new chance at life. I made a promise then to not let my diagnosis define my life. I have come to manage it (4 years in remission), which has given me focus on the lacrosse field and in the classroom. With my set-back, I have had to work twice as hard to catch up physically and grow as an athlete. Since then, I have grown about 11 inches and have just about doubled my weight. I continue to work on my strength and agility to get me to where I know I need to be to compete at the college level. I do off-season endurance and agility training with my high school team, and have also begun strength training at a local gym.
I continue to work on my lacrosse skills throughout the year. I play attack and love scoring with both hands! I played up a grade (on a blended graduation year team) during the 2015 and 2016 summer lacrosse tournament seasons with Tri-State for some tournaments. I am a 4 year Varsity player for Council Rock North HS, including as a Freshman when we made it to playoffs. I also played Varsity lacrosse for CRNHS indoor all years. I was voted MIP in as a junior and voted Captain for my senior year.
I take honors and advanced classes, and have taken the SATs. I played on the JV field hockey team at my high school in the Fall, 2015-2017. I also played in winter field hockey in 2015-16. I participated in Ski Club in 2016-2018. I babysit for several families in my community. I volunteer extensively through my school, my church, and within my community. I like to travel, and went to Austria and hosted a student during the Summer of 2015 as part of an exchange program. I went to Japan in Spring, 2018 with my art class. I was a certified youth lacrosse referee and youth field hockey coach for 3 years.

2018 - Lucy has continued to improve, specifically in her stick protection and keeping her head up under pressure, as well as her defensive footwork and positioning. She is tough, she works hard, and she accepts constructive criticism. She is mature, respectful, highly coachable, and eager to learn and play.

Lucy is very has really grown into a smart low attacker. She is extremely coachable, she understand the levels and lanes of the offense and redefends quickly and efficiently. Her height gives her an advantage on high passes and feeds and positionally as a potential post player.
