I started playing lacrosse in 1st grade. I have played every position, starting out playing D, then Midfield, Attack, even played Goalie on my Box team. Now I focused on Face-Off. Ground ball skills and body positioning have always been a strength of mine. Learning faceoff techniques & strategies combined with the intensity of actually competing at winning faceoffs is why I love the position.

I love to compete at lots of sports. Growing up I played soccer & lacrosse, plus swam for my neighborhood pool in the summer, and skied & ski raced, then switched to ice hockey in middle school. I even played a year of high school varsity football as a safety and tight end.

To push myself academically and athletically I decided to go away to boarding school back East. I am really enjoying being at IMG Academy and working hard every day to get better: on the field, in the weight room and in the classroom. I am a strong team player with a very good work ethic, making sure to help my teammates when needed. I know how to study film of upcoming opponents, working with my faceoff teammates and wing midfielders on how to leverage our combined strengths, countering the other teams tendencies, to maximize faceoff wins for my team - 83% win percentage this summer (252 or 303)!

I have worked with Joe Nardella and Jake Withers for over two years now. I work hard every day to keep improving my faceoff game, top sidewall, bottom sidewall, counters, passing and shooting. I love getting ground balls, no one, no matter how big or fast can beat me 1-on-1 to pick-up a ground ball, it's something that comes from a combination of hockey and lacrosse body positioning, fierce competitiveness and tenacity - I own ground balls. Ground balls win games!

I have had the pleasure and privilege to work with Mac on a weekly basis over the past year. He is a great young man that is hungry and relentless in all aspects of training and play. Not only is Mac is a very capable and skilled lacrosse player as a whole, he is also an elite face off athlete. His versatility, tenacity and passion for the face off position sets him apart from his class and makes him a nightmare for his opponents. With that said, I believe the best trait Mac embodies is his coach-ability and desire to always improve. Mac is constantly asking questions and finding ways to take his practice, training and game performance to the next level. He is a selfless young man that has only scratched the surface of his potential, both as a teammate, leader and human being. I am excited to watch him grow, both on and off the field, and solely believe that he will be a difference maker and championship caliber player for any program that is lucky enough to land him!
