About the Team: The 3d Oregon 2023 team has been competing together since 2106 and is the strongest class of players to come out of Oregon, with multiple DI level players on the squad. 2021 was the first year they competed in high school lacrosse and they all earned varsity starting spots and were impact players on their teams with nine players earning all-league honors as sophomores. The team has six players on the reigning State Champion team, Jesuit High School and four Under Armour All Americans. We’ve been champions at Oceanside Hustle, Park City Showdown, Santa Barbara Showdown, Rose City Showdown and in the finals at Sandstorm. We are looking forward to getting back on the field this summer and competing and showcasing our talents! Come to check us out!

Maggie is an exceptional athlete, constantly striving to make herself better on a daily basis. She is extremely hard working, diligent, and very focused when it comes to putting in the extra strength and conditioning work. Maggie has very clean change of direction mechanics and very good acceleration and top end speed. Her strength has seen substantial growth over the years and continues to grow. Seeing that Maggie is always trying to get her teammates in the gym to better themselves, she is a leader. She knows how to bring up the energy in the room and get her teammates going. With her confidence, athletic abilities, and leadership qualities, Maggie is a player that you want on your side.

Maggie is a fierce competitor who dodges with confidence and easily finds a way to shift her defender enough to make her way into the 8 meter. She has good finesse with her stick and can handle being under pressure in tight spaces. Maggie is both quick off her first step and fast in the open field. She can change direction quickly, with ease and beats everyone down field on both sides of the ball. She has a competitor's brain and sees the field of play easily. She often makes unselfish decisions and always finishes hard. She has a hard, accurate shot that she can execute off a dodge or a catch inside the 8 meter. Maggie is also our player taking the draw and has the ability to control where the ball goes and will coach her teammates on where to be in order to find success. Maggie is humble and has proved she puts the team first. Her confidence and ability continues to improve as she took on a leadership role as a sophomore.

Maggie is an aggressive, smart and versatile lacrosse player. She excels in multiple sports with raw athleticism and exceptional speed and agility. She’s a true middie, with talents from goal-to-goal. She can strategically control the draw and is especially strong at directing the ball to the circle. Maggie has dominant 1-1 defensive skills and has a strong understanding of slides and help defense, with an excellent eye for opportunities to break up plays. She has the athleticism and IQ to serve as an effective backer. On attack, she's a shifty dodger, and dodges especially well off of passes and can handle pressure while maneuvering to goal or skillfully drawing the defense onto her, creating space and assisting. She uses her speed in all aspects of her game. Being the daughter of a coach, she has an excellent grasp on strategy and game play and uses that knowledge to be a leader on the field. Maggie is a go-to player for leadership, to grind and in clutch plays.
