I began lacrosse in 4th grade. When I first began I was athletic, though I had no knowledge of the game, nor was I very good. As I played my lacrosse IQ and talent increased as did my love for the game. Freshman year, I made Varsity, and by the end of the season I reached my goal of being a starter. Although I began playing as a lefty, I am now comfortable playing and finishing with both hands. My communication and hustle on the field make the player I am. In addition to lacrosse, I am on the varsity cross country team. This year, I have been taking most honors courses. I am involved with Girls Who Code, DECA, Model UN, Interact Club, and Camp Rasberry. At my church, I lead the teen group, where we participate in outreach for the community. My favorite things to do when I have extra time is spending time with my friends hiking or going to the beach.
