I started playing lacrosse in second grade and travel lax in 4th grade. I have loved it from the start. I really enjoy training and working on my stick, shooting and footwork. I watch a lot of lacrosse to help develop my lax IQ. I ran cross country my freshman year to continue to work on my endurance. I have done over 160,000 wall ball reps on the sniper app because I am always working on my stick. I try to shoot at least 100 balls everyday. I am proud of my left hand and how hard I have worked to make it as strong as my right hand. As a daughter of a coach, Ive been taught that players do not get good at something because they were chosen, they get good because they work hard at it all the time.
I was the leader in goals and assists on my Lynbrook middle school team and named "Stand Out" player in the 2020 LILJ College Bound Clinic. I have been named Camp MVP twice in the Lynbrook Owls Lacrosse Camp as well as winner of the hardest shot contest in those same clinics. I made varsity as a freshman and enjoyed playing with my teammates at that level. I am looking forward to playing at the NY State Regionals and representing Nassau in July 2022.
I enjoy spending time with my teammates and being part of a team. I also really enjoy training younger players just starting the game. I was a member of the National Junior Honor Society both years in Middle school. I am enrolled in all honors classes in high school and was active in Key Club. Math is my favorite subject and I hope to study Business in college. I also enjoy art and music, I was named All County Art in the 2020-21 school year and I have taught myself to play piano.
I am looking forward to the next few years playing lacrosse for my high school as well as my travel team. Playing college lacrosse is the next goal on my list!
