I began playing lacrosse in 3rd grade. As a youth player, I immediately knew that I wanted to be the best. This drive for excellence led me to put in the extra work and I was able to rise higher than my competition. Through persistent practice and repetition, I excelled in not only my defensive skills, but also my stick skills and Lax IQ. I have fallen in love with the game and pride myself on how far I have come.

As a defenseman, I'm able to thoroughly scan the field in an instant and know what to do. When I have the ball in my stick I'm able to decipher where to run and if I should pass to one of my teammates. One of my biggest assets to my play is my speed. I am able to scoop the groundball out of scruffle, fly up the field while getting a middie back, and pass to one of my attackmen for an assist. If running up the field isn't an option however, I'm able to throw a long pass accurately if needed.
My one on one defense is pretty impressive. Im an aggressive player who knows where to force my opponent. If i am the hot or two slide, I know when to slide and where to recover to. All in all I am a defensive threat on the field.

I was the captain of my youth lacrosse program and have been on my varsity high school team since freshman year. I have been appointed team captain for my club to for the past few years. In addition to my athletic achievements, I also value my schooling and currently have a 4.0 GPA. I have been on the honor roll since 6th grade and have been invited into the National Honors Society. I have volunteered at my church and currently volunteer at my local youth lacrosse program.
