I started playing Lacrosse in 7th grade. I started as an attackmen, but at a summer tournament one of our defenseman got a penalty and we needed another man to pickup the pole and play, so I did. I remember the feeling of my first caused turnover and it felt amazing. I knew from then on, defense was my calling. I started weightlifting to put on muscle for football, and fell in love with it. Lifting has made me such a better athlete, become much more explosive and confident in myself because I know I gave it my all everyday and value my body. As a football player, being awarded captain of both football and lacrosse is such an honor and it makes me happy knowing they have my back on the field because they know theyll always have mine. I am excited for what the future holds for me.
