Shane Knobloch
Recruit Profile
Dodger, feeder, makes teammates around him better.
I started playing lacrosse when I was in the third grade. It has always been something that I have loved and succeeded in. This year, I will be a sophomore. Half way through my freshmen year, I was starting midfielder on the varsity lacrosse team for Moorestown High School. We made it all the way to the NJ Tournament of Champions final but lost to Delbarton 15-9. It was by far the greatest experience of my life. I was picked by NJ.com as one of the top freshmen in the state of N.J. I also play point guard in basketball and currently have a 4.0 GPA. I take honors chemistry and honors entrepreneurship. In college, I have a goal of playing D1 lacrosse at the highest level, for a school that fits all my academic criteria.
I am confident in my ability to dodge and set my teammates up for quality shots. I am a dominant righty but score equally with both hands. My decision making is one of my best qualities.
Last summer, I was fortunate enough to participate in the Appalachian Service Project in Southwest Virginia, helping to rehab homes for less fortunate people. I also participated in Urban Promise in Camden, NJ.

Shane has a very strong and accurate shot from both hands, one of the best I've seen for a player at his age. He also can create his own shot and can separate from his man in a few steps. Very High lacrosse IQ!!

Don Green
