Hi Im Shannon Ackerly Ive been playing lacrosse for ten years and Im going into my Junior year of high school. I aspire to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. I feel that I am a very coachable player and Im always looking to improve and work hard individually and collaboratively to make sure my team and I play to our full potential. I translate the same behavior from the field into the classroom and constantly work hard in order to succeed in school and hopefully pursue my goal of becoming a veterinarian in the future.
I started playing lacrosse in 1st grade so when I was 6. I was one of the top 3 scorers on my HS varsity lacrosse team my sophomore year. I have been on HS varsity for lacrosse since my sophomore year. I have been on HS varsity for field hockey since my freshman year. In 2019 for field hockey I made all-academic team and for this 2021 season of field hockey I made all-conference. I have been a part of the Yellow Jackets North 23 AA team for two years. I am taking two AP classes this year and 5 honors classes. I am a member of my school's HOSA club, I am an officer for my school's Best Buddies club, and I am a member of my school's Athletic Advisory.
