Hi! My name is Sophia and I'm a midfielder for Mad Dog North NJ Girls 2023 and attacker for Ramapo High School. I am very comfortable using both of my hands to dodge, cut, and finish. I take pride in my man on man defense, double teaming on attackers, and aggressiveness on ground balls. I was just one of three freshmen who made Varsity on my High School team. I have a rigorous school schedule with AP and Honors classes and made Superintendent's Honor Roll my freshmen and sophomore year. I am in the Interact, Environmental, Mad4Kids, and tre clubs. I volunteered to be an assistant coach for my towns 5/6th grade girls lacrosse program this past spring and also train some local 7th graders once a week. I work every week at a local farm at the markets cash registers and referee the local recreation soccer games on the weekends. I am in the Family Promise Youth Council and was a counselor for their Summer Camp for 2 weeks this summer. My junior year schedule includes AP US History 2, AP Statistics, Pre Calculus Honors, Chinese 1 Honors, and Intro to Engineering. I am also a Student Council representative for my class.

My high school season went well, my team was in the Stars and Stripes North division, putting us up against the top teams in NJ. Playing against these teams gave me more insight to what lacrosse at the next level looks like, and I loved it.
