Recruit Profile
Determined three sport athlete, coachable, works hard on and off the field, aggressive, confident, fast, never ending desire to get better

I have been playing lacrosse since I was in kindergarten and I started off playing everywhere on the field. When I got older, I recognized that my strengths were in defense. I have a never ending desire to get better and have showed it through giving 100% in game and also when no one is looking. I have practiced with my team, by myself, lessons, and have also taken advice from my coaches to try and be the best player that I can be, and perfect my defensive skills. I have played with LBC since 6th grade. I am an aggressive player who gets lots of valuable playing time, and has grown to be a defensive leader on my team. I am confident when it comes to one-v-ones, slides, communicating, clears, ground balls, interceptions, and stick skills regarding both hands. My lax IQ allows me to successfully play anywhere on the field. Outside of my club team, I will be attending many recruiting events in order to get full exposure to great coaches and players, and it will also allow me to be seen by many schools.

For my High School, I play Varsity soccer and lacrosse and was the JV Soccer team Captain for our pre-season training earlier this year. I start for my Varsity Lacrosse team and we ended up winning the 2A MD State Championship this year. During the offseason, I play club soccer in order to stay conditioned for the lacrosse season. I also do private lacrosse training sessions and weight training so that I am prepared when lacrosse season comes. I have been taking all AP and Honors courses since freshman year and maintained a GPA of 4.25 since then as well. I am a part of the NHS for my school, and have continuously received the honor roll award. I am currently ranked in the top 10% academically in my grade.

Sophia is extremely coachable and a natural leader. She has a strong defensive lacrosse IQ. She is great at receiving feedback and direction from her teammates as well! This helps in creating a team culture where personal/team growth can occur more fluidly.

Sophia is one of our most reliable defenders. She has a willingness to learn and work hard on and off the field. She takes direction very well and leads on the field. Her lacrosse IQ is strong and she could easily play any position. She is extremely coachable.

Sophia has developed into a very smart, reliable and tough defender. Sophia continually works hard on and off the field. Although she has played mostly on the defensive end of the field, she has developed skills to play most anywhere with her agressive play and lax IQ.
