My name is Sydney Klepper and I am a 2022. I started playing lacrosse when I was 8 years old, and I have been playing club since I was 10.
This year on the varsity lacrosse team at Ramsey High school, I broke the school record for most assists in one season, I was ranked 6th in the state for most assists, was the leader in assists and points on my team, and an NJ.com top 100 junior in New Jersey. I received First Team all League and Second Team All County for this season, and was voted for Captain.
I was on the varsity lacrosse team at my high school as a freshman, and I am also captain of my varsity soccer team.
Participating in athletics has enabled me to fully understand the importance of being a team player not just in lacrosse, but in other aspects of life. I take instruction from coaches and constructive criticism very well. Athletically, I am hardworking, determined to succeed and I always put in 100% effort. I am fast, I hustle, and dodge well.
When I am not playing lacrosse I volunteer to play sports with children that have disabilities, and I have been doing this for a few years now. At school, I am a part of best buddies and the leadership program council. The leadership program assists students and teachers in feeling comfortable at school and in their surroundings.
I took all honors classes my freshman and sophomore year, and will continue in my junior year with all honors classes as well as AP English and AP US history, and I am on high honor roll. I am a member of National Honor Society.
