I started playing lacrosse early on as I was introduced and coached in lacrosse and specifically goalie by my dad who played for Penn State. Once I got the opportunity to be in the cage for the first time in third grade I knew there was nowhere else on the field I wanted to be. Since then I have continued my love of lacrosse doing whatever possible to improve my skills whether that be out on the rebounder, getting shot on by a teammate, or working with my goalie coaches Shane Doss and Don Green to improve my form and abilities in the defensive capability. That hard work has paid off in being selected as one of the few players and only goalies to play on varsity my Freshman year. Since then I have become the starting goalie and leader on the Princeton high school varsity team. I have also had the opportunity to play for Bluestar lacrosse and helped lead my team to two tournament victories this past summer. This upcoming fall and spring I hope to do my best to increase my play level and help my team in whatever way possible. Off the field I have always been highly dedicated to my academics I have always had a very specific interest in the sciences. Specifically Marine Biology there is nothing I have been more passionate about in academics then Marine Biology. For the longest time, I can remember I have spent much of my time doing as much as possible to facilitate my understanding and knowledge on the subject. Two years ago I was accepted to study for a month at the Woods Hole Oceanographic institute through the SEA semester program, and this past year I studied at the Cornell/Coby College Marine Research station in the Shoals isle. I hope to continue studying the ocean in college while also playing at a competitive level of lacrosse.
