Tylr Neely
Recruit Profile
Team leader who demonstrates strength in transition passing, steals, and defensive clears. A draw specialist who can assist your tean in maintaining possession throughout the game.
Starting with boys lacrosse at an early age with my brothers, allowed me to develop into a skilled, physical team player. Versatility has been what coaches have loved about me. Whereever they need me, I will be there. My positioning in games is based on the opposing team play. Often I am moved from defense to draw specialist dependent upon our competition. My main role on defense is calling and implementing plays. I have played competetive sports including lacrosse, soccer, basketball since I was five years old. I have acheived varsity level at all sports already in highschool and complement my team sports with club interests such as volleyball, skiing, hiking and fishing.
Academically speaking, I am a very strong student. Enrolled in the Honors STEM program at The Hun School my academics are very rigorous. I take honors level mathematics, science and history and am enrolled in AP Environmental Science for the fall of my junior year. Having already planned out my senior year, I will be enrolled in AP stats.
Team leadership is also a great strength, please reach out to all of my coaches to fully understand my high level of coachability, committment and drive to be a strong team leader.

Tylr's height and athleticism are the first to stand out on the field. But what makes her the all around player is her coachability, her enthusiasm to learn and soak it all in, and her passion for the game. Tylr's communication and defensive lax IQ make her one of the top defenders on her team. She is also the ultimate teammate, always supportive and positive in challenging situations.
Kathleen Jaeger
Tylr is a solid all around player. She is dedicated, hardworking, and team oriented. Tylr is extremely versatile on the field - she can step into the role of attacker, midfielder, or defender, based on the team's need. She dominates on the draw and demonstrates consistent effort in practice and competitions. Tylr is always striving to improve her skills.
Rachel Hickey
Tylr is an incredibly committed player who is constantly showing improvement because of her efforts. Tylr creates goals for herself yet understands that the team comes first. Tylr's height allows her to have great reach on the draw and on the defensive end. I see a great future for Tylr in the college game.
Liz Cook
Tylr has great height and lax iq. She is a force on the field and a great teammate. Tylr is coachable and puts for the the effort and energy to make her a standout on the field. Tylr can take the draw, play an excellent game of defense and can transition nicely to the attack. She has great speed and stick skills as well! The whole package.
