Recruit Profile
Successful draw specialist & play maker. Coachable team player with high LAX IQ and a love of lacrosse! Relentless, hard-working multi-sport athlete.

I started playing lacrosse when I was in kindergarten as my mom shared her love of the game with me. After having catches in the backyard with her, I joined my township league in 1st grade. In 4th grade I started playing club for HEADstrong. Since then, I continued growing my game with HEADstrong, enjoying working with my team and coaches. Although I loved my experience at HEADstrong throughout the years, this past year I decided, with the blessing of my former coaches, to switch club teams. I am now a player on the BIG 4 HHH 2023 team. It was a very hard decision, but I believe I made the right choice in order to grow as a lacrosse player.

As a player, I am comfortable dodging, finishing, and taking the draw with both hands and pride myself in being able to see the field well to find an open teammate or secure an interception. Last season I led scoring, assists, draw control and caused turnovers on my club, township and school teams. Over the past 3 years I have been selected to represent PA and Philadelphia on Brine NLC, Maverick NLC and the Under Armour All America Command teams. Those experiences have enabled me to play with many talented players and form new friendships. I am a hard worker on and off the field. In addition to team practices and general conditioning, I attend at least two agility and speed sessions per week. Unfortunately the 2020 high school season ended abruptly..I was excited to help my team as a starting midfielder.

This past fall I entered Springside Chestnut Hill Academy receiving the Jordie Maine Scholarship. As a freshman I no longer play basketball or field hockey, however continue to play tennis -making varsity in the 2nd Singles position, (awarded 2nd Team All Inter-Ac). In my sophomore year I will be taking Honors English, Honors Algebra 2, and Honors Spanish 3 and continue to be a part of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and Student Ambassadors.

Emma is a commanding midfielder/draw-specialist: intelligent, driven, natural leader with superior stamina and mental-toughness. Through her unwavering desire for excellence she is always evolving and elevating her play and she is a voracious student of the game - but above all, Emma is a delight to coach!

Emma is highly coachable. Her ability to “not-over-complicate” the game presents in her effortless handling of the ball when dodging, feeding or shooting. Consistently creating fast breaks through defensive turnovers and strong draw controls. The way she plays makes it inevitable that she is a leader on her team.

Emma’s a dominate force in the midfield with her ability to react in small-spaces due to great footwork and field vision. She has solid stickwork and embraces high-pressure situations. Emma’s a threat at the draw with her one-handed grabs, and her dynamic stickwork enables her to shoot/pass from any level.
