My love for lacrosse began when I started playing club at the age of 6. In youth lacrosse from ages 11-13, I was the leading scorer at midfield and led the team in ground balls. I am grateful to my youth lacrosse coaches for providing me with a strong foundation of teamwork. I now play for Mad Dog North NJ and continue to practice the core value of working as a team. I was a freshman starter on varsity lacrosse and was honored to be named "All League Honorable Mention" and nominated "Player of the Week" in Lohud News. As the leading scorer, I was also the recipient of the 2021 "MVP Award". On the field, I pride myself in dodging, finishing, transitioning, and strength in both hands. I thrive as a fierce competitor at midfield with quick changing feet and strong defensive skills.
I am a multi-sport athlete playing varsity basketball and love to take aspects from one sport and apply them to the other. The most important thing to me on and off the field is discipline, hard work, and dedication. On my own, I enjoy conditioning and fitness training in preparation for upcoming seasons. I also help coach and referee youth lacrosse grades K-6 for Lightening Ladies Lacrosse. Additionally, I enjoyed being a youth lacrosse camp counselor this past summer. I like to stay active with my high school and most recently joined the athletic department as a support staff member to keep records during the fall sport season.
Some of my academic achievements include consecutive Principal's High Honor Roll while maintaining a 4.0 GPA, Academic Excellence Award, President's Award for Educational Achievement, Student of the Month, and was selected to compete in a National Italian dialect test. My athletic accomplishments include MVP Varsity Lacrosse 2021, MVP Basketball 2020, and two time Basketball Captain 2019 through 2021. I was also a selected player to represent the Mad Dog National team 2021& 2022
and previously selected to compete in the National Girls Lacrosse League (NGLL).

Lex Haarmann
Jenna is an extremely athletic and hardworking midfielder. Her quick first step makes her a threat to goal and allows her to be a shutdown defender. She is an aggressive driver with great vision often creating for her teammates. Jenna is strong taking the draw and on the circle. Her high lax iq and team first attitude makes her an asset to any team. Jenna’s drive and dedication make her an ideal player for the next level.
Carly Cappello
As a coach Jenna is a player every team can utilize. Jenna is driven, coachable and a team player. As a midfielder she is an asset on both ends of the field. Her speed is undeniable, with her ability to change direction and speed quickly it makes her a threat not only the attacking end, but on defense as well being able to read when to slide to help or put pressure on the opposing players. Once she steps onto the field there is a different type of energy and spark that arrives! Jenna is an amazing athlete to work with and watch grow over the years.

I had the opportunity to coach Jenna for several years in youth lacrosse. She is the kind of kid that makes coaching youth sports worth it! Her competitive spirit, tenacious drive and coachability compliment her tremendous athleticism. She is ferocious on the field but will also be the first to compliment and help a teammate or opponent. Jenna has always wanted to improve, asking what she could work on and how to see the field. It has been a pleasure to see how far she has come and how much she has improved her lacrosse IQ, again to compliment her athleticism. I am excited to see where Jenna goes from here!
