Recruit Profile
Coachable, team player with strong Lax IQ - disciplined, determined and aggressive multi-sport athlete.

My name is Tyler Nass. I started lacrosse in grade school at Fox Valley in Naperville, IL and immediately got hooked; it became my favorite sport in one short exhilarating game. Early in my lacrosse career, I was usually the smallest guy on the field but that only added to my tenacity. Its that adrenaline rush when youve got the ball and it's on you, you're dodging on a defender, and constantly getting hit...its what I live for. I am committed to practicing lacrosse, scheduled or not, because I love the game and want to be the best lacrosse player I can be.

I've played many different sports throughout grade and middle school, including five years of football, eight years of basketball, two years of soccer, four years of wrestling, three years of baseball and so far, seven years of lacrosse. While committed to lacrosse, I put my grades first. I have been on the honor roll for the past two years due to my hard work studying and diligence with homework. I plan to keep that streak throughout high school and college. I have also spent some time volunteering our youth lacrosse program. It's fun hanging out with the kids and helping develop skills.

I work to be a leader and standout player on my team. Im a versatile player and can play attack, middie, or defense. I think coaches often put me at middie because of my speed, eagerness to defend and ability to win ground balls. I also love to play attack and work strategies to outplay my defender. In the end, I play wherever the coach needs my skills as I am a team player. I feel Im very coachable and I'm thirsty for any feedback, advice, or tips for the game and to become a better player.

My family has moved several times in my life so I have benefited from learning from two very good school lacrosse programs as well as four different travel teams. Being the new kid, I always have to prove myself to make it to the starting lineup.

I hope to be an asset to a college team where I can both focus on getting a great education while playing the sport I love, representing the school with pride, and making lifelong friends with
