Coach Recruiting Interview

What advice do you have for players interested in Division III schools?

Contact the coaches, visit the school, and enjoy your search for a good fit!

What is the best way for players to get on your recruiting radar?
Fill out our recruiting questionnaire, and email one of our coaches. It's also a great idea to attend camps and clinics that we hold at Oberlin.

What type of players do you look for and where?

We look everywhere for athletic, positive, student athletes who want a well-rounded college experience! At Oberlin, we attract academic minded go getters who want to excel in every area of their life, including the lacrosse field.

What areas of player development would you recommend players focus on to elevate their game?

Don't limit yourself to working on one area of the game. We look for all types of standouts to join our roster. Whatever your strengths are, keep working on them! Whatever your weaknesses are, work even harder!

How has the accelerated recruiting landscape impacted your approach to recruiting?

We love that there are a lot of players interested in Oberlin. However, we are looking for players who are a really good fit and want to be challenged academically and athletically.

Are there any last pieces of advice for players and families you'd like to share?

We'd love to hear from you! Fill out our recruit questionnaire, send us an email, preferably with a video, and let's get in touch.
